The DL 930 rental unit is in good operating condiion, and differs from the new DL 930 only in having been rented for 2 to 4 weeks prior to being available for sale. It is a compact (32x41x8cm), light weight (2.4 kg) instant-on, no flicker, flourescent light therapy lamp. It is used for the treatment of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), winter blues, fatigue, and sleep disturbance associated with shift work, aging and jet lag. It comes with a UV filter diffusing lens, has two light settings (10,000 and 7,000 lux at 30 cm), and can be either stood on its side, mounted on a desktop stand (included), or hung on the wall. In addition to its treatment applications, the DL 930 makes an exceptional task or reading lamp, and provides pleasant ambient lighting. Suggested SAD treatment exposure times: 15 to 60 minutes every morning. NOT ALWAYS AVAILABLE.
